PIGGAREP Quarterly Progress Report 1st Quarter 2011

PIGGAREP 1st quarter progress report for 2011. The first quarter of 2011 covers the period from 1st January to 31st March. During this period, ongoing activities from the 4th quarter of 2011 were being implemented and with a few new ones that are mentioned in this report. This report is based on the 2011 work plan which was initiated during the 3rd multipartite review meeting (MPR) in November 2010. During that meeting it was emphasised by the Project management Office (PMO) that there is a need for activities in the 2011 work plan to be implemented, hence the requirement to be realistic with the activities put forward for the work plan. A maximum of 2 or 3 activities per PIC are required. During the 1st quarter 111.71% of funds expended. 12% of the actual expenditure covers the PMO expenses.
