Pacific Regional Transport Minister's Resolutions

The meeting of the Pacific Regional Transport (Aviation and Maritime) officials was held on 1 April in Nadi. The meeting examined sustainable transport services for all in the Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs), and how, as Pacific nations, to position transport services issues in the post 2015 development agenda at the national, regional and international levels.

Cook Islands Importation of Motor Vehicles Act 1997

This act was prepared by the Cook Islands Government. It is an act that is used to provide for the importing of motor vehicles for government use during the south pacific forum. This act may be cited as the Importation of Motor Vehicles (South Pacific Forum) 1997. The act shall apply to the importation of motor vehicles into the Cook Islands for Government use during the 28th South Pacific Forum in Rarotonga in September 1997.

The combined plenary Energy and Transport officials meeting was co-hosted by the government of Fiji and the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) and was held on 31st March 2014 and 1st April 2014 at the Novotel Hotel in Nadi, Fiji.

Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Investors ' Guide - Vanuatu

This report was prepared by Government of Vanuatu. This investor guide book is being developed with the aim of supporting potential investors and project developers with the basic knowledge on the environment surrounding CDM project development in Vanuatu. Tokelau Infrastructure Study - Report on the Infrastructure Priorities for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade

Report was prepared on the Infrastructure Priorities for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The primary objective is to identify local priorities for infrastructure development on each of the atolls of Tokelau, taking into account the Tokelau Development Plans and NZODA principles and policies. To assess each of the possible infrastructure development identified and draw conclusions about their technical feasibility, economic viability and contribution to economic development, and social and environmental impact.

This report is based on data gathered by the National Technical Expert, Ms Talalelei Tevita together with the assistance of Ms Sili’a Kilepoa Ualesi, the National PREGA Coordinator as well as additional inputs from members of the PREGA Committee. Data from which this report is based, was collected from various government departments at various times since initiation of the contract in November 2002 until the reopening of the programme for Samoa in May 2004.
