Fiji Renewables Readiness Assessment (RRA) 2015

Fiji RRA report provides overview of Fijis energy sector and renewable energy, enabling environment for renewable energy development, opportunities for deployment of RE and recommendations. Report examines the general enabling environment for increase RE uptake in Fiji i.e. grid-based geothermal energy, solar PV, biomass, off-grid solar energy and more efficient vessels/renewable power for maritime transport. Fiji is identified by the Geothermal Energy Association as one of 39 countries that could meet their electricity demand solely by tapping the renewable energy from underground heat
