Fiji Issues and Options in the Energy Sector 1983

This is one of the series of reports of the Joint UNDP/World Bank Energy Sector Assessment Program. The work was carried out by the World Bank. This is a restricted distribution. Its contents may not be disclosed without authorization from the Government, the UNDP or the World Bank. Fiji's performance in the energy sector has been remarkably good during the past ten years. The report recommends a new approach to procure petroleum supplies and outlines technical assistance programs for institutions, rural electrification study, and oil and gas exploration. This report is based on the findings of an energy assessment mission which visited Fiji in December 1982.
