2030 | The People's Plan as our National Sustainable Development Plan for the period 2016 to 2030.

This plan builds on the progress made and lessons learned under the Priorities and Action Agenda, which guided our national development efforts between 2006 and 2015, and the Millennium Development Goals, which also expired in 2015.

Herewith Tuvalu National Gender Policy: Strategic Plan of Action 2014-2016.

The three-year Strategic Plan of Action proposes a series of outputs and key actions in order to achieve the outcomes of the National Policy on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment. Its implementation requires the active contribution of the Government and civil society organisations. The outcomes and outputs proposed must be incorporated and addressed in the national policy and programmes in every sector and need to be part of annual plans.

Strategy 2030 sets the course for ADB’s efforts to respond effectively to the Asia and Pacific region’s changing needs.

LivC has three inter-related strategic Climate Resilient Investment Pathways (CRIPs):

1. Mitigation: Decarbonisation Development;

2. Adaptation: Strengthened Integrated Risk Reduction and Adaptation to enhance climate change and disaster resilience and

3. Human Development: Capacity Building, Education, Training, Public Awareness & Outreach,

The updated NERM 2018 to 2020 was developed in 2017/18 after a review of the NERM 2014 - 2020, consultations in Nauru on implementation progress to 2017 and is based on the original document. The key changes include renaming the Action Plans, reducing the number of Activities to be implemented, ordering the Activities by Lead Agency and Time Frame, as well as revising wording for some of the Activities and Expected Results.
