Papua New Guinea Wind Resource Monitoring

The PNG wind dataset is extracted from the 3TIER Global Wind Dataset, IRENA Global Atlas for Renewable Energy.

There have apparently been no systematic estimates of wind energy since the 1970s when the best potential was estimated to be in parts of Central, Western, Milne Bay and New Ireland provinces and thePort Moresby area.
