Economic and Demographic Data

In 2018 a household electrical appliances and lights survey were undertaken in the urban areas of Palau, i.e. Koror and Airai. The survey covered 40 urban households that have received an energy efficiency loan from the National Development Bank of Palau (NDBP) and a control group of 442 urban households that have not received an energy efficiency loan from the NDBP. The control group constitutes around 11.4% of all urban households in the country (as per 2015 census results there is a total of 3884 urban households in Palau).

The 2015 CNMI statistical yearbook captures a wide range of statistical data obtained from bodies, organisations, and institutions comprising the statistical systems in CNMI under the mandate of the statistical Act of 1990.

Data capture annual average retail prices for the following list of items captured for American Samoa CPI.

1. Mature coconut ($/pound)
2. Bottle gas ($/91 pounds)
3. Gasoline ($/gallon)
4. Electricity ( $/300kWh)

Solomon Islands copra, palm oil and cocoa production and export by annual basis and destination from 2006 - 2016. Data sourced from the Commodities Export Marketing Authority (CEMA) in Honiara. Dataset captures the volume production (Megatonnes) of these 3 products quarterly & annually and destination of export.

The following excel template captures Kiribati's trade data from the years 1999 to 2010. 

Household survey was funded by the UNDP Pacific Fiji Office in supporting the Kiribati Energy planning unit (EPU) undertake a survey of household end-use electrical appliances. Data compiled in this dataset is for South Tarawa.
