Marshall Islands Renewable Energy Advisor
The New Zealand Government is partnering with the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) to assist them in achieving their ambitious climate change and renewable energy goals, particularly through supporting the development and implementation of a strategic roadmap for the RMI energy sector.
The RMI is a Small Island Developing State (SIDS) and the founder of the “High Ambition Coalition”.. The RMI is both concerned about the impacts of climate change on its country and people, and committed to significant and rapid cuts in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The initial assignment will be full-time for 12-months residential in Majuro. It is expected that the assignment will be extended for up to a further 24-months subject to contractor performance, RMI future requirements and budget approval.
