• Position: Fiji Low Emission Development Strategy (LEDS) Waste Consultant

• Experience and Requirements: The purpose of the consultant position is to support the components of the LEDS addressing solid waste disposal, biological treatment of solid waste, incineration and open burning of waste, and wastewater treatment and discharge (hereinafter referred to collectively as “waste”), insofar as emissions are relevant, through an analysis to determine the emissions baseline, business-as-usual (BAU) scenario, and low emission development scenarios (including a basic model of emission projections); writing the relevant waste-focused sections of the LEDS report; and preparing and delivering presentations to key Fijian government and non-government stakeholders to inform and lead to decisions on priority LEDS pathways.
